I'm not expecting the share price to grow expansively. The company has a smallish dividend payout ratio, so I believe the dividend is relatively safe. And if Ford continues to pay special dividends rather than increase their dividend, I'm OK with that!FerdiShttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05008021146951839361noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6097510160054715524.post-89801037132334125872016-02-03T18:58:12.920-08:002016-02-03T18:58:12.920-08:00DivGro,

I like how during the bailouts, they refused them and instead relied on cash for clunkers and cost cutting to get through. It shows a lot about the company as a whole. I've just been nervous ever since because we saw too many big auto companies turn over during that period to put my money on them. Any advice or items to add on this subject?

-DMDividend Monsterhttp://dividendmonsters.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6097510160054715524.post-51203116950721257982016-02-03T17:45:21.664-08:002016-02-03T17:45:21.664-08:00Hi BeSmartRich

I like Ford for several reasons. One reason is because the company didn't ask for bailout money at the hight of the financial crisis.

Take care!FerdiShttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05008021146951839361noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6097510160054715524.post-77806378581354780062016-02-03T13:24:34.553-08:002016-02-03T13:24:34.553-08:00Ford is a good pick. Securing 5% dividend from an auto manufacturer is really excellent. Good move!

BeSmartRichBeSmartRichhttp://www.besmartrich.comnoreply@blogger.com
