6 Dividend Increases: August 7-11, 2017

Companies can only raise their dividends regularly if earnings grow sufficiently.

Monitoring dividend increases for stocks on my watch list helps me identify candidates for further analysis.

Recently, six companies on my watch list declared dividend increases.

Four of the six stocks in this week's list announced double digit percentage increases. 

The top increase is from SunTrust Banks Inc (STI) with an impressive increase of 54%! The stock now yields 2.86% at $55.99 per share.

Brinker International (EAT) announced the second largest increase with a 12% increase. The stock now yields 4.30% at $35.32 per share.
