Dividend Increases: September 25-29, 2017

Companies can only raise their dividends regularly if earnings grow sufficiently.

Monitoring dividend increases for stocks on my watch is one way to identify candidates for further analysis.

In the past week, five companies on my watch list announced dividend increases, including one of the stocks I own.

A single stock on this week's list announced a double-digit percentage increase.

The stock is Honeywell International (HON), which announced an increase of 12.03%. The stock now yields 2.10% at $141.74 per share.

DivGro will be benefitting from a 9.89% dividend increase from Lockheed Martin (LMT), which now yields 2.58% at $310.29. LMT is a solid performer for DivGro with annualized total returns of 28%. After this increase, my yield on cost is 4.42%!
