Apple (AAPL) increased its quarterly dividend by 4.17%, from 24¢ to 25¢ per share.
The dividend will be paid on 16 May to shareholders of record on 13 May. The ex-dividend date is 10 May.
AAPL's contribution to DivGro's projected annual dividend income will increase by $4 to $100.
I own 100 shares of AAPL at an average cost basis of $22.55 per share. Following this increase, my yield on cost is 4.43%. (AAPL's forward yield is 0.54% at $185.65 per share).
Since I opened my AAPL position in May 2016, the stock has produced annualized total returns of 94%, including $593.25 in dividend income.
AAPL became DivGro's 18th Home Run stock in August 2018, when the stock doubled my original capital outlay.
