11 Dividend Increases: September 5-16, 2016

 Summary

  • Companies can only increase their dividends regularly if earnings grow sufficiently.
  • I like monitoring dividend increases for stocks on my watch list of dividend growth stocks, because I consider such stocks to be candidates for further analysis.
  • Recently, 11 companies on my watch list decided to increase their dividends, including one of the stocks I hold in my portfolio.

To see the list of dividend growth stocks than announced dividend increases in the past week, please read this article at Seeking Alpha.

The list includes 3 stocks that announced double digit percentage increases, as well as one DivGro stock that increased its dividend yet again!

Please feel free to leave comments on this article either at Seeking Alpha or here, on my blog. I'll do my best to respond to each comment as quickly as possible.

  1. Where do you get info on dividend raises? Do you just check them regularly or is it possible to have some notification if a certain company does it?

    Thanks!

    1. Hi Dividendstrainer -- I wish it were as easy as just registering some alerts! Unfortunately, it is not. I'm a subscriber to dividend.com's premium service, which allows me to search for dividend increase announcements on a specific date. Most days deliver lots of results, which I then have to filter to the CCC list and my watch list.

      Hope that helps!
