Companies that regularly increase dividends show confidence in future earnings growth potential. One way to identify dividend growth stocks for further analysis is to monitor dividend increases.In the last week, eight companies on my watch list announced dividend increases.
Three of the dividend increases are double-digit percentage increases.
The top increase is from Broadridge Financial Solutions (BR), a company that provides investor communications and technology-driven solutions for the financial services industry. BR announced a spectacular increase of 33% and now yields 1.49% at $129.37 per share.The runner-up is Manulife Financial (MFC) with an impressive increase of 28%. MFC and its subsidiaries provide financial advice, insurance, and wealth and asset management solutions. The stock now yields 4.82% at $18.22 per share.
