Costco Wholesale (COST) increased its quarterly dividend by 13.73%, from $1.02 to $1.16 per
share.
The dividend will be paid on 10 May to shareholders of record on 26 April.
The ex-dividend date is 25 April.
COST's contribution to DivGro's projected annual dividend income will
increase by $19.60 to $162.40.
I own 35 shares of COST at an average cost basis of $515.27 per share. Following this increase, my yield on cost
is 0.90%. (COST's forward yield is 0.64% at $728.55 per share).
Since I opened my COST position in August 2019, the stock has produced
annualized total returns of 40.8%, including $676.80 in dividend
income.
COST became DivGro's 41st Home Run stock in November 2021, when the stock doubled my original capital
outlay.
