Procter & Gamble (PG) increased its quarterly dividend by 6.99%, from 94.07¢ to $1.0065 per share.
The dividend will be paid on 15 May to shareholders of record on 19 April. The ex-dividend date is 18 April.
PG's contribution to DivGro's projected annual dividend income will increase by $22.32 to $402.60.
I own 100 shares of PG at an average cost basis of $129.84 per share. Following this increase, my yield on cost is 3.10%. (PG's forward yield is 2.56% at $157.24 per share).
Since I opened my PG position in February 2014, the stock has produced annualized total returns of 9.0%, including $1,385.76 in dividend income.
PG became DivGro's 22nd Home Run stock in August 2020, when the stock doubled my original capital outlay.
