Atmos Energy Dividend Increase

On 6 November, Atmos Energy (ADP) increased its quarterly dividend by 8.07%, from 81¢ to 87¢ per share.

The dividend will be paid on 9 December to shareholders of record on 25 November. The ex-dividend date is 25 November.

ATO's contribution to DivGro's projected annual dividend income will increase by $52 to $696.

I own 200 shares of ATO at an average cost basis of $89.47 per share. Following this increase, my yield on cost is 3.89%. (ATO's forward yield is 2.45% at $141.44 per share). 

Since I opened my ATO position in February 2021, the stock has produced total returns of 69%, including $1,967.50 in dividend income. That's an outstanding annualized rate of return of 16.5%!
