9 Dividend Increases: November 28-December 2, 2016

Includes: CORDFTDISMKCNUEPFGSLGUHTWEC

Summary

  • Companies that regularly raise their dividend payments show confidence in future earnings growth potential.
  • I monitor dividend increases for stocks on my watch list of dividend growth stocks to identify candidates for further analysis.
  • This past week, 9 companies on my watch list decided to increase their dividends, including 1 of the stocks I own.

To see the list of dividend growth stocks that announced dividend increases in the past week, please read this article at Seeking Alpha.

The list includes four stocks with double-digit percentage increases! None of my DivGro stocks announced any dividend increases this time around.

  1. Disney increasing their dividend is interesting. They have the cash flow to do that for a while and I don't see them going anywhere anytime soon.

    1. I really love the nearly 10% increase! DIS has a low payout ratio, so they can afford several such increases in the next few years! I've just increased my stake in the company and will grab the semi-annual dividend in a couple of days!
