Welcome to the tenth annual review of DivGro, my portfolio of dividend growth stocks! 

I created DivGro in January 2013 to create the proverbial dividend-generating machine. DivGro has grown beyond my wildest dreams and now generates dividend income averaging $3,824 per month. With less than ten years to go before I retire, I plan to continue reinvesting all dividends and allow my portfolio to grow even more.

Welcome (finally!) to the ninth annual review of DivGro, my portfolio of dividend growth stocks! 

I've been swamped at work with little time to write articles, but things are letting up a bit and I'm happy to have some free time to catch up on article writing!

I created DivGro in January 2013 to create the proverbial dividend-generating machine. DivGro has grown beyond my wildest dreams and now generates dividend income of $3,277 per month, on average. That's a tidy income stream, which I plan to reinvest until and perhaps into, retirement.

The act of keeping track of DivGro in a public forum has helped me become a better dividend growth investor. A lot of what I've learned has come from research, but the most interesting aspect of blogging certainly is the interaction with like-minded investors. So, I want to say Thank You! to all who have encouraged me and have commented on my posts. Please continue to do so!

In the past two weeks, I've written a monthly review and a quarterly review. In this post I'll be reviewing DivGro's performance in 2014 – my second annual review.  I'd like to do this by looking at the portfolio's overall performance as measured by rate of return, dividend income, dividend growth, and yield on cost (YoC). Also, I'd like to look at the performance of stocks I've owned for at least one year. Finally, I'll list some of DivGro's 2014 highlights.

Annual Review, 2013

I created DivGro in January of 2013 to generate a reliable and growing dividend income stream. By keeping track of the portfolio in this blog and by interacting with like-minded investors, I've become a better dividend growth investor. I've learned a tremendous amount about dividend growth investing, how to value dividend stocks and, frankly, the benefits of blogging!

The purpose of this post is to review DivGro's performance in 2013. I'd like to do this by measuring DivGro's performance against the goals I've set for 2013 and by looking at the portfolio's overall performance (rate of return, dividend income, dividend growth, and yield on cost).
