Home Run Number 62

Today, I'm happy to announce DivGro's 62nd Home Run!

I call stocks in my DivGro portfolio Home Runs after they double my original investment on a total return basis.

As a dividend growth investor, I invest in high-quality dividend growth stocks with long histories of increasing annual dividend payouts.

There's rarely a reason to sell high-quality dividend-growth stocks if the company's underlying fundamentals don't change. And if you hold such stocks long enough, they'll eventually double your original investment in total return!

Unless the underlying fundamentals change, there's rarely a reason to sell these stocks. And if I hold them long enough, they'll eventually double my original investment in total return and become Home Run stocks!

Ten-Bagger Number One

Today, I'm starting a new series of milestone articles, similar to my series of articles on DivGro's Home Runs.

Articles in this series will be exceptionally rare!

In fact, I would be surprised to write more than three of these articles in the next decade!

The reason is that achieving a Ten-Bagger is exceptionally rare in Dividend Growth Investing. A Ten Bagger is a stock with total returns of at least ten times the original investment (or a 1,000% return on investment).

Home Run Number 51

I'm celebrating a wonderful milestone today! DivGro just delivered my 51st Home Run stock, doubling my original investment in total returns!

If you invest in high-quality dividend growth stocks, then there's rarely a reason to sell your stocks. And if you hold dividend growth stocks long enough, eventually, they'll double your original investment in total returns and become Home Run stocks!

Dividend growth investing is the ultimate Get Rich Slow Scheme. It's boring but beautiful and a perfect example of Slow and Steady wins the Race!

Home Run Number 50

This week was special for my DivGro portfolio. I just celebrated DivGro's 49th Home Run, and I'm back to announce my 50th Home Run!

Time in the Market is an admirable goal. In contrast, Timing the Market is a fool's errand. It's impossible to accurately pinpoint a market high or low point, so those who attempt it run the risk of missing periods of exceptional returns. The dividend growth investor reaps the benefits of a strong bull market and a regular income stream even when the bears take over!

Home Run Number 49

I celebrated DivGro's 48th Home Run on 1 December 2023, and today I'm back to celebrate DivGro's 49th Home Run!

I label any stock in my DivGro portfolio a Home Runs stock if it doubles my original investment in total returns.

I've been tracking DivGro's Home Runs since 30 October 2014, when General Dynamics (GD) became my first Home Run stock.

I celebrate home runs in milestone articles to show how lucrative dividend growth investing can be. Home runs are perfect examples of Slow and Steady winning the Race and demonstrate why I prefer Time in the Market over Timing the Market.

Home Run Number 48

November's rally lifted many of my DivGro stocks, and I'm happy to celebrate DivGro's 48th Home Run today, 142 days after celebrating Snap-on (SNA) as my 47th Home Run.

Home Run stock is a stock that doubles my original investment in total returns.

I've been tracking DivGro's Home Runs since 30 October 2014, when General Dynamics (GD) became my first Home Run stock.

Home Run Number 47

I'm celebrating DivGro's 47th Home Run today!

When a stock in my portfolio doubles my original investment in total returns, I label it a Home Run stock!

I announced my 46th Home Run stock, TJX (TJX), on 30 June 2023. In that article, I shared that Snap-On (SNA) was the only home run contender with total returns of at least 80%.

Home Run Number 46

I'm back celebrating another Home Run, DivGro's 46th

When a stock in my portfolio doubles my original investment in total returns, it becomes a Home Run stock!

After waiting 375 days to celebrate DivGro's 45th Home Run, I'm happy to say the wait for Home Run #46 was just 11 days!

I announced my 45th Home Run stock, Oracle (ORCL), on 19 June 2023. In that article, I identified two likely candidates for my next Home Run stock, TJX (TJX) and Snap-On (SNA).

Home Run Number 45

It's fun to celebrate when a stock in my portfolio doubles my original investment in total returns. This article celebrates another such milestone, DivGro's 45th Home Run!

It has been 375 days since last I celebrated a DivGro Home Run!

On 9 June 2022, I announced my 44th Home Run stock, Chevron (CVX). In that article, I identified three likely candidates for my next Home Run stock, but another stock beat them to the punch!

10 Years

Today I'm celebrating a decade since founding DivGro!

I posted my first DivGro article on 10 January 2013. After blogging for 3,652 days and writing 1,351 articles (including this one), DivGro has seen more than 3,468,000 million page views!

I've averaged an article every 2.7 days or about 11.3 articles every month and about 950 page views per day.

The number of articles and page views are nice numbers to track, and I'm happy to celebrate these milestones. But DivGro is all about generating a reliable and growing dividend income stream, and tracking DivGro's projected annual dividend income (PADI) is much more relevant!
