4 Dividend Increases: March 20-24, 2017

Companies that regularly increase dividends show confidence in the potential growth of future earnings.

I monitor dividend increases for stocks on my watch list of dividend growth stocks to identify candidates for further analysis.

The rate of dividend increases is slowing down. This week, only four companies on my watch list decided to increase their dividends, including one of my DivGro holdings.

All four dividend increases this week are single-digit increases.

One of my DivGro holdings, Intel Corporation (INTC) announced an increase of 4.81%. It is a little less than I would want to see, but at least the increase is more than the current rate of inflation.

To read about this week's dividend increases, please read this article at Seeking Alpha for details.

  1. Hi Ferdi , How do you like interactive broker so far , is there any minimum of trades you have to do each month/ quarter to be eligible for their low fees?

    1. The trading platform of Interactive Brokers takes some getting used to. The low fees are available to all customers. If you don't trade enough, IB charges a $10 inactivity fee monthly. I trade enough so I'm not concerned about that fee.

    1. Enough for commissions to add up to $10 -- if not, you pay a minimum of $10.
