Companies can only raise their dividends regularly if earnings grow sufficiently.
Monitoring dividend increases for stocks on my watch list helps me identify candidates for further analysis.
Last week, 25 companies on my watch list declared dividend increases. Part 1 covers the Energy, Financials, and Real Estate Sectors, while Part 2 will cover the remaining sectors.
Two of the stocks in the list of announced double-digit percentage increases.Topping the list is Lincoln National (LCN), a company that sells a range of wealth protection, accumulation and retirement income products and solutions. LNC announced a solid increase of 13.8% and the stock now yields 1.75% at $75.64 per share.
The second largest increase is from Kennedy-Wilson Holdings (KW), a global real estate investment and services company. KW announced an increase of 11.8% and the stock now yields 3.95% at $19.25 per share.
