On 29 October, Visa (V) increased its quarterly dividend by 13.46%, from 52¢ to 59¢ per share.
The dividend will be paid on 2 December to shareholders of record on 12 November. The ex-dividend date is 12 November.
V's contribution to DivGro's projected annual dividend income will increase by $28 to $236.
I own 100 shares of V at an average cost basis of $204.32 per share. Following this increase, my yield on cost is 1.16%. (V's forward yield is 0.81% at $290.74 per share).
Since I opened my V position in September 2018, the stock has produced total returns of 45%, including $640.13 in dividend income. That's an annualized rate of return of 11.2%.
