On 20 January, Alliant Energy (LNT) increased its quarterly dividend by 5.73%, from 48¢ to 50.75¢ per share.
The dividend is payable on 18 February to shareholders of record on 31 January.
LNT's contribution to DivGro's projected annual dividend income will increase by $26.4 to $487.20.
I own 240 shares of LNT at an average cost basis of $49.05 per share. Following this increase, my yield on cost is 4.14%. (LNT's forward yield is 3.45% at $58.77 per share).
Since opening my position in February 2024, the stock has generated a total return of 23%, including $345.60 in dividend income. That's an impressive annualized rate of return of 22.8%!
