General Dynamics Dividend Increase

On 9 March, General Dynamics (GD) increased its dividend by 6%, from $1.50 to $1.59 per share.

The dividend is payable on 8 May to shareholders of record on 10 April.

GD's contribution to DivGro's projected annual dividend income will increase by $18 to $318.

I own 50 shares of GD at an average cost basis of $90.91 per share. Following this increase, my yield on cost is 7.00%. (The stock's forward yield is 1.83% at $348.08 per share).

Since I opened my position in March 2013, the stock has delivered a total return of 333%, including $2,300.30 in dividends. That's a superb annualized rate of return of 15.1%!

GD became DivGro's 1st Home Run stock in October 2014 when it doubled my original capital outlay.
