Visa Dividend Increase

On 28 October, Visa (V) increased its dividend by 13.56%, from 59¢ to 67¢ per share.

The dividend is payable on 1 December to shareholders of record on 12 November.

V's contribution to DivGro's projected annual dividend income will increase by $32 to $268.
I own 100 shares of V at an average cost basis of $204.32 per share. Following this increase, my yield on cost is 1.31%. (V's forward yield is 0.79% at $339.67 per share).

Since I opened my position in September 2018, the stock has delivered a total return of 71%, including $876.13 in dividends. That's a splendid annualized rate of return of 12.1%!
