Costco Dividend Increase

On 15 April, Costco (COST) increased its dividend by 13.08%, from $1.30 to $1.47 per share.

The dividend is payable on 15 May to shareholders of record on 1 May.

COST's contribution to DivGro's projected annual dividend income will increase by $17 to $147.

I own 25 shares of COST at an average cost basis of $431.78 per share. Following this increase, my yield on cost is 1.36%. (The stock's forward yield is 0.59% at $1,004.06 per share).

Since I opened my position in August 2019, the stock has delivered a total return of 142%, including $922.80 in dividends. That's a sensational annualized rate of return of 23.4%!

COST became DivGro's 41st Home Run stock in November 2021, when it doubled my original capital outlay.
