On 10 December, Amgen (AMGN) increased its quarterly dividend by 5.78%, from $2.25¢ to $2.38¢ per share.
The dividend will be paid on 7 March 2025 to shareholders of record on 14 February 2025. The ex-dividend date is 14 February 2025.
AMGN's contribution to DivGro's projected annual dividend income will increase by $26 to $476.
I own 50 shares of AMGN at an average cost basis of $186.73 per share. Following this increase, my yield on cost is 5.10%. (AMGN's forward yield is 3.52% at $270.62 per share).
Since opening my position in October 2018, the stock has generated a total return of 67%, including $2,068.05 in dividend income. That's a solid annualized rate of return of 9.2%.
AMGN became DivGro's 51st Home Run stock in July 2024 when it doubled my original capital outlay.
