On 10 December, Stryker (SYK) increased its quarterly dividend by 5%, from 80¢ to 84¢ per share.

The dividend will be paid on 31 January 2025 to shareholders of record on 31 December 2024. The ex-dividend date is 31 December 2024.

SYK's contribution to DivGro's projected annual dividend income will increase by $8 to $168.

I own 50 shares of SYK at an average cost basis of $320.56 per share. Following this increase, my yield on cost is 1.05%. (SYK's forward yield is 0.90% at $374.60 per share).

Since opening my position in August 2019, the stock has generated a total return of 18%, including $239.20 in dividend income. That's a solid annualized rate of return of only 11.7%.
