On 15 November, Nike (NKE) increased its quarterly dividend by 8.11%, from 37¢ to 40¢ per share.
The dividend will be paid on 2 January 2025 to shareholders of record on 2 December 2024. The ex-dividend date is 2 December 2024.
NKE's contribution to DivGro's projected annual dividend income will increase by $39.60 to $528.
I own 330 shares of NKE at an average cost basis of $88.65 per share. Following this increase, my yield on cost is 1.80%. (NKE's forward yield is 2.07% at $77.36 per share).
Since I opened my NKE position in August 2019, the stock has produced total returns of -12%, including $308.61 in dividend income. That's a disappointing annualized rate of return of -2.2%.
NKE became DivGro's 36th Home Run stock in July 2021 when it doubled my original capital outlay.
